Personalized Education

Prioritizing Your Student

Rooted in supportive relationships, students thrive and grow to their full potential in small class sizes.

A Different Kind of Experience

There is a greater sense of community at Rockwell. Small class sizes mean that our teachers get to know each of their students on a personal level. Without the pressure of crowded classrooms, our students are more comfortable asking for help, trying new things, and discovering their talents and interests. At Rockwell, families find the personalized connections that make all the difference.

Confidence

Students take initiative over their own educational pathways and find their voice.

Supportive

Smaller classes give teachers the time and opportunities to answer questions and provide the attention students need to understand and complete more challenging tasks.

Tech Skills

Ed-tech helps students practice learning and working with new and emerging technology and helps prepare them for future careers in STEM.

Tutoring

We provide one-to-one assistance through "Marshal Aid" a unique, once-a-week academic tutoring program. This program also supports our attendance recovery program for students who may need it.

Collaboration

Working in groups with fellow students, our students develop the valuable skills that are needed in the modern job market. Students learn to solve problems, work together and communicate effectively as a team, preparing them for the future of highly collaborative work environments.

Individualized Education

Whether it’s through academic tutoring, community service, school-wide initiatives, or just plain fun, the Rockwell community is one of engagement, acceptance, and individualized educational support. A variety of learning pathways - on campus, online, or hybrid - further personalize learning options and accommodate in-person instruction as well as home school families. The Rockwell experience includes knowing you belong. Feeling a part of something greater than yourself is an important part of student life, and is essential to a sense of belonging in a school invested in each student's achievements.

Rockwell Charter Programs

  • College Prep

A college-prep program develops the skill set that universities expect students will possess when they apply for higher learning. We provide the curriculum and guidance to ensure graduates are ready for the rigors of college.

  • Student Government

Student government is a group of students who manage a wide range of events, activities, programs, policies, and initiatives around the school. It creates leadership development opportunities for participating students, who plan and purpose to improve daily life for fellow students, identify and give voice to needs in our community and feel empowered to implement change.

Great leaders are built at Rockwell.

  • Fine Arts

Students who are involved in the arts have higher engagement in class, school motivation, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. Those all sound like good reasons to pick up the paints and brushes. The arts encourage self-expression and creativity and can build confidence as well as a sense of individual identity.

  • Drama

Drama is a mirror of real life. It develops students' understanding of the world, relationships, culture, and society.  In our drama program, students work collaboratively with others, explore moral and ethical issues, and use their skills to communicate with an audience.

  • Spanish

Research has shown that learning a foreign language improves cognitive abilities, positively influences achievement in other disciplines, and results in higher achievement test scores in reading and math. Our students study the Spanish language to prepare them for bright futures in a global economy.

  • Athletics

Participation in athletics promotes learning cooperation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership - qualities that last a lifetime. We value the opportunity athletics offer for students to build tenacity, confidence, discipline, a growth mindset, and the ability to handle mistakes. Our Rockwell teams include baseball, cross country, volleyball,  basketball, softball, and track. There's a sport or team for every student at Rockwell.
